LOCAL GYMNASTICS ACADEMY IN NORTH LONDON
Perform Better Gymnastics Academy, is a fast-growing and award-winning gymnastics and trampoline club now firmly established in North London. PBGA was founded in 2012 after identifying a lack of awareness in the UK around the all-round benefits of gymnastics.
Our mission statement is to provide affordable opportunities to the local community to practice sports in general, gymnastics activities in particular, and also to identify promising young gymnasts with potential to compete for regional and national gymnastics competitions. Based in North London, Perform Better Gymnastics Academy is designed to meet everybody’s needs in sports. We offer a wide range of activities for kids meant to improve coordination, strength, flexibility, mobility, agility, confidence, body awareness while having Fun. It also improves fitness, develops social skills and promotes an active healthy lifestyle.
Our experienced gymnastics coaches team (former Olympians or World Champions in Gymnastics) are fully qualified, DBS checked, insured and members of British Gymnastics.
We deliver a comprehensive gymnastics program which includes: Vault, Floor, Trampoline, Freestyle Gymnastics/Parkour -as main activities and mini rotations like Bars/Beam, Rhythmic Gymnastics or Tumbling to children starting from 4 years old to teenagers or adults, regardless of ability.
Currently, PBGA is running popular gymnastics/trampoline classes in four different venues: Enfield Town (Southbury Leisure Centre), Tottenham Green Leisure Centre, Woodhouse College in Finchley, and TaB Centre in Palmers Green.
We also work/collaborate with local schools where apart from running the gymnastics sessions we have also developed session plans for other sports like football, tennis, dance, fitness, multi-sports – either as part of the school curriculum (PPA) and/or after-school clubs.

The parents’ and gymnasts’ guide (PDF’s are attached) outlines the changes parents and gymnasts can expect when they return to training. The parents’ guide will also inform parents how they can support their child to ensure that their return is as safe and enjoyable as possible.
Sumaya has really enjoyed each class and has developed in confidence both physically and socially. We are sad to be leaving but hope to find as good a club in Cardiff.

Florin and his team at Perform Better have always been very professional, punctual and highly respectful in our inclusive environment. Florin often brings his own specialist equipment and has never let us down in terms of cover. He has always organised cover weeks in advance with his specialist team of professionals.
